Quality Lab Support Technician (Industrial Lab) - Vallourec

POSITION SUMMARY:
Collecting, preparing and testing product samples.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work safely
• Cut required samples
• Prepare test samples
• Test samples and report results
• Maintain lab machinery
• Housekeeping of lab
• Marks traceability

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Must have thorough understanding of API specifications related to tubular goods.
• Must be proficient in the use of machinery used in preparation of test samples.
• Must be proficient in the use of cutting torches for sample collection.
• Must understand the procedures that must be followed for the physical tests conducted at this facility.
• Must have good communication skills and be capable of maintaining historical records of lab tests.

*Pay Rate: Starting at $24/hr.*
