The QualityInspectorensuresthat allfinishedproductspassall electrical and final inspections andconformtoall therequirements.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform final inspection and complete all data entry with final inspection.
Assist in-process inspections for all parts manufactured in FAB, Powder Coat, and Assembly, including Prototype inspection and FAIR reporting as assigned by the Quality Manager.
Perform in-process inspections according to work instructions andthe Quality Manager's instructions.
Verify shop order packets, including prints and Bill of Materials,as required during inspections.
Perform data entry of daily inspections as required.
Maintain accurate and legible records and file in an organized manner.
Assist production in non-conforming product analysis and resolution.
Participate in Internal Audits at theassigned facilityas required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Language Skills: Read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures, governmental regulations, standards, procedures, and manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, visitors, andcompany employees.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts of fractions, addition, subtraction, division,and decimals in all units of measure.
Reasoning Ability: Define problems, collect data and facts, draw valid conclusions, and recommend solutions.Ability to interpret technical instructions and diagrams.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years ofrelated experience.
Minimumof7yearsof proven quality inspectorexperiencewill be considered in lieu of a degree.
Knowledgeof inspection, measuring, and testingequipment.
Knowledge and experience using mechanical and electrical measuring equipment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

(i.e. pallet jack, forklift, scissor table, buddy system).
Vision abilities required are close, peripheral, and depth. Must have the ability to recognize color.

Employees regularly work near moving, vibrating mechanical equipment, occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Exposed to minimal risk of electrical shock.
