Quality Inspector - Industrial Equipment Manufacturer (35070) at Activ8

An international Manufacturer is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team in Elk Grove Village, IL. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring products meet high standards of quality. This role involves inspecting materials, conducting tests, and maintaining accurate documentation of quality inspections.

This is a full time, and direct hire position, with work being 100% on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming materials in the early stages, and finished products for compliance with quality standards
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional tests on products
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and defects
• Report defects or non-compliance to supervisors
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations
• Continuously monitor and improve quality processes
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in quality control or related fields are a plus
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Ability to use measuring tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

This position is in a manufacturing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
