Quality Inspector - GA Telesis

Job Description:

GA Telesis, LLC, Global Leader in the Commercial Aviation is seeking a Receiving/Quality Inspector for the Fort Lauderdale Parts Distribution Headquarters.

Responsibilities:

Position is responsible for performing incoming and final inspections of Aircraft/engine material and the required documentation per the customer’s requirements.

Education and Experience:

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in the English Language
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent

• Familiar with Aircraft/ engine parts and the standard practices and procedures with in the Aviation Industry
• Familiar with ISO9001, AS9120 and ASA standards. Also Specifications ATA106 & ATA300
• Familiar with Microsoft office, Quantum software (a plus)
• Familiarity in using Inspection aids such as: IPC’s, ILS, SBs, AD’s etc
  Be able to read and understand trace documentation and knowledgeable with the FAR’s and be familiar with the different Maintenance Release forms such as 8130’s, EASA Form One, Canadian Form one, etc
• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision and the ability to follow instructions at all times
• Quality oriented, attention to detail, self-motivated, reliable and be able to multi-task when necessary
• Inspector should be able to be punctual; work flexible hours (stay late and work on weekends when required)

Computer Skills:

• Proficient with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
