QUALITY INSPECTOR
Job Summary
Responsible for the in process and final inspection of manufactured parts, for the documentation of inspection records, for identifying and controlling nonconforming material, and for supporting Root Cause and Corrective Action.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Inspect and or lay out parts, with precision measuring instruments, on surface plates using blocks, parallels, and clamps.
- Perform first article, in process, receiving, and final inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies
- Identification and acceptance stamp parts that are conforming to required specifications.
- Interpret blueprint and technical specifications related to manufactured parts.
- Identify and control nonconforming material, and support Root Cause and Corrective Actions.
- Perform in process audits of parts in the manufacturing process.
- Calibrate and maintain precision measuring tools.
- Maintain and organized inspection records in company files.
- Verify the accuracy of measurements documented on inspection data sheets.
Minimum Education/Work Experience
Read and interpret detail and assembly drawings, engineering orders, quality control procedures, and specifications to inspect machined parts. Use calibrated precision measuring instruments.
Related Work Experience Is Required.
Hourly rate is negotiable depending upon experience
Working hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm with OT
