If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team. This position is available for both 1st and 2nd shift, offering you the flexibility to choose what best fits your lifestyle. Responsibilities:
In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining our stringent quality standards. Your tasks will include:
1. Performing thorough inspections of all products, using hand tools, micrometers, vernier calipers, and optical comparators.
2. Reading and interpreting blueprints to ensure products meet design requirements.
3. Identifying non-conformance and initiating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
4. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements in our highly regulated environment.
5. Participating in quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Documenting inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality database.
7. Working closely with the manufacturing team to rectify any issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in the manufacturing industry, with a particular focus on quality control. Specific qualifications include:
1. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device field.
2. Proficiency in using inspection tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and optical comparators.
3. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading.
4. Experience in a regulated environment and familiarity with the NCR process.
5. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify even the smallest of discrepancies.
6. Solid understanding of Quality Control principles and methodologies.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well with other departments to achieve quality objectives.
