Job Title: Quality Engineering Intern, Quality Operations
Location: This position is based in our Campbell, California offices, on-site & full-time. Imperative Care does not provide relocation or additional housing compensation for the summer internship.

What You’ll Do
The individual will assist quality engineers on manufacturing processes and controls to be used on the production line and help troubleshoot manufacturing issues to mitigate patient risk.
- Work with production and engineers on manufacturing process instruction improvements
- Support issue resolution for production and assembly including root cause investigation and corrective action tracking.
- Organize and analyze data sets that outline the systemic improvement opportunities
- Assist quality engineers on trending QC and other quality metrics
- Currently have or in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering field (e.g. Bioengineering, Material Engineering, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering) & a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Strong understanding of engineering principals
- Strong analytical and statistical knowledge
- Knowledge in data querying and manipulation a plus
- Strong organizational skills: management of multiple priorities and timing
- Good interpersonal skills, effective communication, and partnership with other departments
