Responsibilities

- Analyze defect data, create trend charts, and support root cause analysis for nonconforming products.
- Collaborate with inspectors to verify defects and suggest improved inspection techniques.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure quality is integrated into product designs.
- Develop and implement inspection plans and review manufacturing build instructions for compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and manage nonconforming material through the Material Review Board process.
- Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Approve engineering drawings, participate in the Change Control Board, and lead Quality Focus Groups.
- Support production teams by troubleshooting quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements

- Experience: 5+ years in electronics manufacturing and quality assurance.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: ASQ certification preferred.
- Standards: Proficiency with AS9100 or ISO9001 standards, IPC-A-610, and J-STD-001.
- Skills: Advanced Excel, data analysis, and effective communication with cross-functional teams.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder).
