Quality Engineer - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 75k/year - Lancaster, PA

• Our client is an industry-leading custom plastic injection molding manufacturer who is looking to add a Quality Engineer to the team. They have a nationwide presence with multiple manufacturing plants across New England and the Mid-Atlantic regions.
• The Quality Engineer will assist in leading the quality lead to ensure quality parts/components through production phase.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with new product launches, contract reviews, and quality plans
• Communicate with customers on test reports and updates throughout the manufacturing process
• Develop inspection plans for new molding & projects
• Program and Utilize CMM, optical comparators, and all measuring equipment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Background in quality for plastic injection molding manufacturing
• Robust background in testing molded parts
• Ability to read & decipher blueprints
• Familiarity with tolerancing
• Understanding of PPAP and first article inspections
• Experience programming PC-DMIS for CMM is preferred
• Familiarity with IQMS

Compensation:

• Compensation for this role includes a base salary up to 75k/year along with comprehensive benefits package including 401k with employer match.
