Quality Engineer - Spherion Mid Ohio

The Professional Division of Spherion Mid-Ohio is partnered with an established and growing company in Norwalk, OH seeking a Quality Engineer on 1^st shift with pay up to $80K based on skill set & experience. Come join their team!

The Quality Engineer – ensures that products meet specified quality and safety standards throughout their lifecycle, from design to production and post-manufacturing processes. Their main role is to ensure that every product or service a company produces is of consistent and high quality by implementing effective quality control procedures and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities of Quality Engineer:

• Collaborate with teams to support product development and process improvement.
• Lead and participate in quality and regulatory procedure development.
• Apply statistical methods to evaluate processes and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and other relevant standards.
• Conduct audits and resolve quality issues with suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement in product and process quality.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO standards.
• Working knowledge of Quality Tools – CAD/SolidWorks/Lean/Six Sigma/Sampling Principles and AQL,TQM, Technical Writing/Metrology & Calibration, Inspection and Testing.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Experience with quality tools and statistical analysis.

• Able to work in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Great communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to make presentations to middle and upper management.
