Description:
• We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team.
• This role involves planning, developing, and executing comprehensive testing processes to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
• Collaborating closely with development, business analysis, and support teams, you will focus on testing the application's user interface, integration points, and data handling to deliver robust solutions.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the application, leading end-to-end testing efforts across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, design, execution, reporting, and approval stages.
• Utilize tools like dashboards to effectively communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using both in-house and open-source frameworks to maximize test automation coverage.
• Champion quality assurance practices by working closely with software engineers and product teams to deliver reliable, high-quality products.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test environments and pipelines.
• Collaborate with the automation engineering team to enhance the central testing framework and tools.
• Partner with quality engineers to perform integration testing for upstream and downstream components.
• Monitor code coverage using tools such as code analysis utilities to ensure testing completeness.
Required Skills:
• Extensive experience (8+ years) in test planning and execution as part of SDLC.
• Strong expertise in creating and implementing test automation frameworks.
• Proficient in programming languages commonly used in automation and scripting, such as Python.
• Skilled in web automation tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with API testing tools and methodologies.
• Practical knowledge of databases and proficiency in SQL.
• Hands-on experience with continuous integration and deployment tools from a testing perspective.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Detail-oriented and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to document test evidence effectively.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with cloud-based applications is a plus.
• Knowledge of performance testing and handling large datasets is advantageous.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $140000K-$200000K
