Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in each product's life cycle.
2. Conduct failure analyses, using statistical methods and recommend changes to enhance the product reliability and minimize failure risk.
3. Work closely with the production team to identify and rectify any quality-related issues.
4. Develop and implement quality plans, programs, and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and analyses.
5. Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
6. Participate in the development of software and hardware failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) and fault tree analysis (FTA).
7. Utilize Six Sigma, 8D, A3, and other problem-solving methodologies to address and prevent issues.
8. Actively participate in root cause analysis and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
9. Perform data analysis to identify trends and drive improvements.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with quality management, FTA, FMEA, 8D, A3, Six Sigma, SPC, data analysis, production quality control, and quality assurance.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
7. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
8. Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
9. Proficient in statistical analysis and quality control software.
10. Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
11. Certification in Six Sigma or other quality-related disciplines is a plus.
