To continue to meet our customer’s mission critical needs, PDC is seeking a Quality Engineer Intern.
This position requires a U.S Person or a person who can qualify for a department of state or commercial license.
The compensation for this role is $20-$22 hourly.
Responsibilities
Quality Control:
Assist with inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Implement quality control procedures and documentation.
Assist in the monitoring of production processes to identify and address potential quality issues.
Testing and Analysis:
Execute qualification plans to validate product certifications.
Assist with test data analysis, aiding in the implementation of improvements to enhance product quality.
Collaborate with Engineering and production teams to identify and resolve design and process issues.
Root Cause Analysis:
Assist investigation and determination of the root causes for product defects and non-conformances.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified issues.
Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and operational efficiency.
Participate in cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality inspections and tests.
Prepare reports on quality performance and present findings to Engineering.
Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Familiarity with analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and techniques.
Basic communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Preferred Skills:
Current enrollment in 2 year degree program at technical school or college.
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Basic familiarity of relevant industry standards and regulations.
Knowledge of quality control procedures and methodologies.
