Quality Engineer II
As a Quality Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies (AERO), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will be accountable for implementing and maintaining quality control systems, conducting inspections and audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our aerospace technologies and help us deliver safe and reliable solutions to our customers.
You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you'll work out of our Urbana, OH location onsite.
In this role, you will impact the quality and performance of our aerospace products by:
- Implementing and maintaining quality control systems, including inspection plans, procedures, and work instructions
- Conducting inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, and driving root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Guiding and participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction
- Providing technical support and guidance to manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure adherence to quality requirements

YOU MUST HAVE
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality engineering or related roles
WE VALUE
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
+ Experience in the aerospace industry
+ Knowledge of quality control systems and methodologies
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and regulations
+ Six Sigma or Lean certification
+ Excellent communication and people-oriented skills
