Quality Engineer I

To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:
·Support internal as well as third party ISO: 9001:2015 Quality Management System audits and ISO- IATF 16969.
·Perform research and design for quality processes and controls.
·Evaluate designs, drawings, project plans, specifications, and other documents.
·Initiate and facilitate cross-functional teams in pursuit of problem solving and mistake proofing quality problems.
·Drive implementation of a progressive quality system to prevent defects and meet or exceed customer expectations.
·Provide key input into the development of departmental strategic goals along with identifying key measurable to support the departmental goals.
·Works with customers to obtain all necessary APQP documents including Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
This full-time, salary, role is a part of our Quality team and reports to the Quality Manager.
Required experience:
·Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
·Experience in quality engineering or supplier development.
·Experience in programming with knowledge of measurement equipment such as CMM and Laser Scanning.
·Knowledge of PPAP processes.
