_What’s the job?_
The Quality Engineer I (QE) will serve as the immediate delegate to the Quality Systems & Controls Manager & Regional Quality Manager.
The QE I will ensure that the quality standards of the company remain maintained within the CBI Waterproofing procedures, policies, purchased components and manufactured products.
Duties and responsibilities include:
+ Participate in and may lead complaint investigations, CAPA investigations, lead supplier audits, drive supplier quality, conduct internal audits and drive continuous improvement projects throughout the plant.
+ Supporting any facility expansions, software validations, equipment qualifications and/or process validations required to support existing/new processes.
+ Participate in and host third-party audits and conduct training when needed. Implementation, maintenance, and control of systems & practices, which monitor, assess, and approve the quality of materials and products at all stages of production.
+ Implementing, maintaining, and facilitating continuous quality improvement objectives. Ensure the plant remains in full compliance with regulatory requirements and ISO requirements as they pertain to the plant, customer specifications, and corporate quality policies.
_What do you bring?_
+ Education – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Mechanical or Chemical preferred
+ 3 – 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment in roles that include Statistical Analysis, Process Improvement, Regulatory Compliance, Testing/Inspection, Project Management, & Quality Control/Assurance
+ Experienced with Statistical Analysis software, Quality Management Systems (QMS), CAD, Six Sigma tools, & Root Cause Analysis tools
+ ISO9001 experience is a plus
+ People Oriented, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Good Communications, Customer Focus, & Time Management skills
+ Some travel (up to 20%) is required in this role and working hours beyond a typical 8-hour workday may be needed occasionally to meet business demands
