Job Summary:
In this position, you'll offer Quality Engineering assistance to various departments including Manufacturing, Sourcing, Operations, Engineering, and Service at Franklin Park. Additionally, you'll ensure that processes, products, and procedures align with company standards, specifications, and requirements.
Job Duties:
- Oversees and sustains quality systems, testing, and inspection activities to ensure that products, processes, and services adhere to corporate, state, federal, and regulatory requirements, standards, and practices.
- Coordinates, facilitates, conducts, and documents problem-solving efforts aimed at rectifying or enhancing internal products, processes, and services. Conducts internal audits of procedures.
- Provides technical expertise to qualify, develop, certify, and support both internal and external suppliers and vendors.
- Contributes to the development and execution of internal and external corrective actions aimed at enhancing, rectifying, or upholding product, process, and service standards, specifications, and requirements.
- Applies Advanced Product Quality Planning methodologies such as Failure Mode Effects Analysis, control plans, and Measurement System Analysis to assess the feasibility of new products and the consistency of production processes.
- Utilizes statistical data to pinpoint and resolve issues and leads problem-solving teams dedicated to preventing problems and reducing variances.
- Maintains and evaluates quality system records, documents, and data. Offers suggestions for improvements and alterations to products, processes, or systems based on these assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- 1-3 years experience in Quality Engineering role
- Knowledge of GD&T tolerancing
- Data collection and charting
- SAP experience
- Write procedures and work instructions
