Salary Range: $60K- $65K per year
Job Type: Full-time
Benefits:
Berry offers three Anthem medical insurance plans. Full medical, dental and vision insurance are provided with this position. Who We're Looking For
Our Kansas Road Location, Evansville Closures (EVCL) Quality Team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated member to join their team. As Quality Engineer, you will provide leadership and guidance to manufacturing, technical support teams and for other quality process improvement projects. You will participate in the development and evaluation of the quality system, quality education/training, audits, problem investigations and quality measurements.
What You'll Be Doing:
+ You will be accountable for personal adherence to all applicable ISO, Safety, cGMP, Food Safety and Plant policies.
+ You will plan and direct activities specific to the application and maintenance of quality standards.
+ You will conduct internal and external quality audits.
+ You will provide technical support to manufacturing on quality and process issues.
+ You will communicate with internal and external customers, vendors, production supervisors, customer service and the plant manager. You will also liaise with other plants and corporate leadership on initiatives.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred
+ 3-5 years experience in a technical capacity in quality assurance, manufacturing or design engineering, or other related field
+ Injection molding experience a plus
+ Understanding of the 7 Basic Quality Tools for Process Improvement
+ Quality orientation i.e. ISO, cGMP, SQF, HACCP
