We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an entry-level position, perfect for someone who is looking to kick-start their career in the engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the necessary requirements before they reach the consumer.
Responsibilities:
As our Quality Engineer, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
1. Conducting CAPA investigations and implementing corrective actions to prevent the recurrence of non-conformities.
2. Performing Root Cause Failure Analysis to identify the source of product or process defects and developing corrective action reports.
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
4. Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
5. Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
6. Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
7. Liaising with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
8. Monitoring debugging process results and tracking quality assurance metrics.
9. Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proven experience with CAPA investigation, Root Cause Failure Analysis, and creating corrective action reports.
4. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
5. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
6. Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
7. Solid technical skills, including with troubleshooting and the ability to drive root cause analysis.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
9. Attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
10. Certification of Quality Engineer (CQE) will be a plus.
