This AS9100 Certified metals machining organization provides quality parts to key OEMs in the defense, aerospace, oil and gas, and mining industries.

Purpose of the role: Responsible for assuring potential and current quality issues are identified and eliminated/corrected in an efficient, effective manner. You will support an AS9100 compliant Quality Management System and serve as a key resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement.

Duties:

• Preventing shipment of non-conforming product by leading the PPAP process including preparing cusotmer PPAPs and reviewing supplier PPAPs
• Assist/develop and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection
• Review new jobs for gaging needs
• Assures timeliness of customer, supplier, and internal corrective actions
• Assures disposition of nonconforming material

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 5 years of related industry experience (including military and/or aerospace)
• Solid machining experience in a mfg. service or large component environment .
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Capable of developing and applying innovative/creative quality solutions
