About the Job
- Component introduction / Part Submission Warrant (PSW) for defined categories.
- Maintain Q-info / Shelf life / Inspection Plan in SAP for component purchasing.
- Lead for the execution, tracking and closure of the Safe Launch after G70.
- Lead APQP phase 5) "Feedback, Assessment and Corrective Action".
- Plan, initiate, implement, and control the appropriate supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain in the make / market phase for all supplied goods and services, in his area of reasonability, to continuously observe the quality performance of the supplier.
- Handle supplier quality incident, supplier QN creation and 8D follow up.
- Provide inputs to Central SQM.
- Escalation with EW/RA/CSL/LL.
- Coordination within plant for all PCN's / component release and coordination of PCN for defined categories.
- BU responsible are informed via PCN tool (according to CAP0311016 - Change Management).
- Support for plant specific improvement activities in root cause analyses / definition / implementation of appropriate counter measurements at supplier to ensure that the parts and services meets the defined quality requirements; Initiate, lead and drive plant specific supplier improvement programs.
- Conduct the audit planned by AIB system and local quality management request.
- After Documents release (PPAP, PSW, Qualification Data, Deviation +Risk-Mitigation), follow up Component related deviations and risk-mitigation actions, e.g., SLC measures, additional or enhanced tests at Conti. Possible Supplier related restrictions e.g., reduced 8D-management, ppm threshold to start corrective actions, traceability limitations, marking, audits.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree or similar in engineering or equivalent.
- Professional experience (at least 5 years) in quality and manufacturing field.
- Experience in automotive business (approx. 2 years) and understanding of automotive environment.
- Experience with Supplier development and Customer contacts, continuous improvement, quality assurance, Six Sigma, industrial engineering, production, preferred".
- Experience in working with international teams on Quality issues.
- Understanding for different foreign cultures (NAFTA, Asia, several European cultures).
- Experience with customer interface

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
