As a Quality Engineer in the dynamic field of Manufacturing, you will be the driving force behind the development, implementation, and maintenance of our quality systems. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet both internal and external requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals and make a significant impact on the quality of our products.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities as a Quality Engineer will include, but not be limited to:
1. Developing and implementing quality standards, inspection processes, test methodologies, and quality plans.
2. Conducting audits of processes and quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
3. Ensuring that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
4. Working with the production team to identify and rectify potential quality risks.
5. Facilitating and promoting the use of appropriate statistical techniques in the monitoring and analysis of manufacturing processes.
6. Participating in the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
7. Managing and coordinating customer PPM, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
8. Leading and managing Continuous Improvement projects and activities.
9. Participating in lean manufacturing initiatives and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in the manufacturing industry.
2. A minimum of 2 years of Quality Engineer experience in aerospace.
3. Proven experience with ISO 9001, Continuous Improvement, Quality Management, Quality System, Lean Manufacturing, and Quality Auditing.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in using statistical analysis software.
8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is preferred.
10. Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Black Belt, or Lean Manufacturing are highly desirable.
