Aerospace Quality Engineer
A growing, global company specializing in designing, developing, prototyping and manufacturing electronic products and subsystems for aerospace and defense is looking for a Quality Engineer. In this role you will manage the company's quality systems in support of minimizing escapes and continuously improving manufacturing yields.

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000/yr (DOE)

Responsibilities:
- Provide timely resolution to customer inquiries.
- Returned Material Authorization (RMA) coordination and disposition.
- Corrective Action Report (ICAR, CCAR, SCAR) generation and coordination.
- Perform scheduled internal quality system audits and process audits.
- Perform AS9102 First Article articles when required.
- Maintain calibration system.
- Maintain all quality/performance certifications such as: AS9100; MIL-DTL-7788; etc.
- Maintain quality procedures, quality assurance instructions and process control procedures to conform to all applicable customer requirements, industry standards and registration systems.
- Utilization of SPC and MSA to ensure process capabilities and control.
- Technical Review Board (TRB) involvement when required.
- Maintain calibration system.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
- Thorough understanding of quality management systems and management thereof.
- Understanding of current military and customer specifications and requirements.
- Ability to read, interpret and work from customer specifications and standards.
- Working knowledge of panel and keyboard light measurements preferred.
- Understanding of standard quality and statistical measurements, including SPC, DOE, CPK, etc.
- Computer literate, able to utilize Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio and Access.
- Ability to utilize Discus and Net Inspect software for generating first article reports.
- BSEE, BSME or BSQA preferred.
- Minimum 3 years experience in cockpit interface instrumentation manufacturing industry.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control disciplines.
- IPC-A-610 certification.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and Certified Quality Auditor certification preferred.
- Must be able to pass customer or client's specified eye examinations.
- This position requires the use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident.
