Quality Engineer - Masiello Employment Services

Our client, a busy manufacturer in Brattleboro, VT, is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team!

Your qualifications for the Quality Engineer position are as follows:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, related experience considered
• 5-10+ years manufacturing/quality engineering experience
• Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance methods, tools, and manufacturing processes
• Strong computer skills including relevant software
• Excellent math skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Professional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as a team to meet organizational goals

For the Quality Engineer position your duties will include:

• Manage overall quality of manufacturing processes
• Perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with others to resolve issues
• Track/manage deliverables and communicate with customers
• Identify process improvement functions and share data, provide recommendations
• Ensure documentation of instructions/procedures meet requirements
• Evaluate programs and ensure clear definitions for product quality
• Support product activities with First Article Inspection process improvement
• Focus on continuous improvement
• Perform audits and provide reporting
• Other duties as needed
