We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position, offering you the opportunity to be an integral part of our forward-thinking and innovative engineering team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our products and systems, ensuring that they meet both the high standards of our company and the expectations of our customers.
Responsibilities:
As a Quality Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with the IATF 16949 standard.
2. Leading Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) to ensure effective introduction of new products and processes.
3. Coordinating the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to confirm that the production process has met the customer's requirements.
4. Performing root cause analysis for any quality-related issues and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
5. Driving continuous process improvement initiatives to reduce cost, improve quality and increase customer satisfaction.
6. Developing and implementing quality control processes to monitor the performance of the production process and product quality.
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and improve overall product and process quality.
8. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, developments, and regulatory requirements related to quality control.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Quality Engineer position should possess the following:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within the Engineering industry.
3. Proven experience with Quality Control, IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis.
5. Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement initiatives.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and across various departments.
7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with statistical analysis software.
