Job Summary
- Assists in upkeep of calibration program for measuring and test resources.
- Report any safety or maintenance concerns to manager immediately.
- Provides support to help resolve production/Process issues.
- Technical support or help another team member, if necessary, under supervision of supervisor.
- Commitment to all safety policies and regulations always.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Upload data to cloud sharing with customers.
- Perform First Article Inspection Package.
- Train inspectors to run CMM program.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup CMM machine to successfully conduct run as program specified.
- Monitors production run throughout the cycle, checking specifications are met.
- Performs first article piece production to ensure quality.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Ability to read blueprints.
- A good eye to detail
- Good computer skills
- Ability to work with the team to produce timely and accurate FAIR’s.
Preferred Skills
- Reviews all documents relating to the job at hand.
- Ensure CMM machine is in good working order before setup.
- Setup CMM machine to successfully conduct run as program specified.
- Monitors production run throughout the cycle, checking specifications are met.
- Performs first article piece production to ensure quality.
- Keep all work areas clean and organized.
Experience Requirements
- Able to write a simple program.
- Consistently achieve defined productivity level on all products processed; run product independently for a period of at least three months.
- Proven record of quality, on time production run.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating machine maintenance, and instruction and/or procedure manuals.
- Positive attitude, reliable, and a team player.
- Must maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
Education Requirements
- 2 Year college associate degree.
- 4 Year College Degree.
