750.00 SIGN ON BONUS plus 75.00 WEEKLY INCENTIVE
Team Member will report to the Food Safety Quality HBE Supervisor. The Hard Boiled Egg Safe Quality Food/Quality Control Technician, is responsible for the daily quality, food safety and esthetics of the product. This person also follows through on set processes and ensure adherence to FSMA, Current Good Manufacturing practices (CGMP), Food Safety, Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards and product quality standards.
Work Schedule;
Days - Monday to Friday
Hours - 5:00 am to 1:30 pm with possible weekend work during heighten busy season.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for monitoring and documenting critical control points (CCP) that apply to our Food Safety Plan
- Responsible for monitoring, product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Responsible for performing sanitation verification on equipment and other areas of the plant.
- Responsible for the correct recording and filling out all relevant record logs and documentation.
- Ensures the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.
- Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
- Ensures and educates employees on FSMA, Food Safety and SQF standards.
- Collect product samples for product shelf life holds, lab retains and laboratory samples when directed.
- Perform inspections on Products, Equipment and Machinery.
- Assist and work with Production personnel and Supervisors with questions, issues, problems, and mishaps when it pertains to a Food Safety or Quality issue
- Be familiar with packaging operations, cases used, types of date codes and required dating information.
- They need to perform Pre-Operational Sanitation inspections and Environmental Swabbing and have a general knowledge of areas of the HBE equipment.
- Must have a general knowledge of basic computer data entry
- Thorough understanding of standards, measurements, metrics and applicable basic mathematics.
- Perform any other duties and task associated with Quality Assurance as required by the Sr. Food Safety Compliance Manager
- They must demonstrate they have a basic working knowledge of OVO data entry that pertains to the Quality Assurance program and Recall retrieval.
- They must demonstrate the ability to work with other people and any Government inspectorial agency employees.
- Must be able to stand 8-10 hours
- Must have good eyesight or proper glasses to correct eyesight to recognize small defects on the eggs
