Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits
A consulting firm is seeking to hire a Designer Drafter to work on a variety of facility projects doing Architectural, Structural & MEP work.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.

A consulting firm is seeking to hire a Designer Drafter to work on a variety of facility projects doing Architectural, Structural & MEP work.
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree in Architectural Drafting or another related field.
- Seeking candidates with 2 years of design drafting experience.
- Must be capable of preparing construction drawings from architect, engineer and/or client sketches in commercial and residential design.
- Basic knowledge of project workflow. Pre-design through permit acquisition.
- Experience with Architectural design concepts, practices, construction documents and procedures.
- Able to do foundation plans, floor plans, equipment plans, finish plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, interior details, MEP drawings, etc.
- Able to generate construction and/or bid documents, shop drawings.
- Able to go out and do field measure of existing buildings.
- Must be proficient with AutoCAD. Revit is a plus.
- MS Office; Word & Excel proficient
- Proficient in different construction types and detailing for pre-engineered metal buildings, pole barns, and conventional framed buildings.
- Typical projects will be commercial, manufacturing, warehousing, hospitality, office and retail.
