We are seeking a Quality Control Technician to join a dynamic organization for 6 month contract opportunity.
Shift: Night Shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Job Summary
The QC (Intugent) Technician is responsible for providing ongoing quality control support to the Production Team at our ISO-certified plants. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment that prioritizes safety, quality, service, and cost efficiency. This role involves performing quality control tasks focused on finished product testing, specifically compressive strength and thickness testing, while also supporting production teams and other QC technicians in preparing and testing samples.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and finished goods sampling and testing.
- Conduct compression and thickness sampling and testing.
- Prepare samples for lab testing in adherence to standard operating and safety procedures.
- Retrieve product samples from the warehouse when production lines are inactive.
- Assist with quality control projects and trials as needed.
- Communicate effectively with production operators and leaders.
- Ensure all activities are conducted safely.
- Escalate any abnormal or out-of-specification results to production leads or managers.
- Perform retesting as directed by the manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in quality control areas.
- Handle additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency in intermediate-level finite math and analytical skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of G-Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.).
- Familiarity with standard manufacturing practices and concepts.
- Preferred experience in quality control testing within a manufacturing environment.

- Frequent use of hands and fingers for testing equipment and machinery.
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of quality experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience supporting production and business goals.
- Prior experience as a technician in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
