Quality Control Technician - Spherion

About the Job
Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
Record and document test results, including any deviations from quality standards.
Operate and maintain testing equipment, measuring instruments, and gauges to assess product quality.
Review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and ensure proper manufacturing procedures are followed.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.
Perform audits of production processes and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during inspections and testing.
Prepare and maintain quality control reports and documentation.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and industry-specific standards (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.).
Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
Knowledge of basic troubleshooting and maintenance of testing equipment.
Experience with auditing and reporting on quality metrics.

High School

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in quality control or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience (1+ years) as a Quality Control Technician or in a similar quality assurance role.
Strong understanding of quality control methods, testing, and documentation.
Ability to use measurement tools and testing equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams.
Ability to work independently and follow procedures accurately.
