Position Summary:
The QC Supervisor is responsible for planning and directing activities concerned with the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for processes, materials, and products. You will need to be focused on delivering excellent performance to our customers, strong self-starters, team collaborators, and excellent problem solvers, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role will serve the operations of Mobis North America Electrified Powertain, LLC (MNAe).
Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
- Oversee performance management and supervision of all production line QC Team Members
- Manage Team Member schedules and daily attendance.
- Communicate with supporting departments and leadership on any operational, safety, and quality issues
- Assist with the development of Quality Documents including, but not limited to, work instructions, standards, and flowcharts
- Monitor the quality of product, repairs, workmanship, proper labeling, allocation, and staging of parts received externally and manufactured internally
- Interface with leadership to develop and implement training programs as required
- Monitor Team Member records including attendance, work hours, training, and performance
- Consistently provide communication of quality information and objectives to Quality and Production management, supervisors, and Team Members
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for review by the management team
- Implement and oversee Corrective Actions and Discussion Plans as necessary
- Maintain and manage good quality processes and 5-S standards within the QC Department
- Comply with and promote safety in the workplace

Basic Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability required and preferred for this position.)
Preferred Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years in the field of Quality Control
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Working knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, and Six Sigma
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Good Verbal and Written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to make good decisions and take decisive action in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills with subordinates
Licenses and Registrations: None required
Working Conditions: Incumbents will spend more than 70% of their time on the production floor.
