Position Summary
Laclede Inc., a California-based health care products manufacturer, is looking for a Quality Control - Packaging Inspector to join our Quality team. This is a Full-Time position (for California based applicants only) and will be responsible for checking the quality of incoming and outgoing materials/products for our company, as well as inspection of our production lines.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Inspecting and releasing Incoming components as per specifications.
- Issuing approved product labels to packaging for production and maintaining label logbooks.
- Performing on-line checks on filling and packaging lines for correct specifications.
- Reviewing all packaging logbooks regularly.
- Reviewing line clearance for filling and packaging.
- Reconcile final inspection documentation and Batch Records for shipments.
- Initiating non-conformance reports.
- Maintaining good communication with all team members, production and packaging employees and addressing all issues that arise during shift period.
- Maintaining quality assurance standards within our facility and following GMP as a daily lifestyle.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree preferred.
- 1-2 years QC inspection experience in a regulated industry preferred.
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in Office 365 Products (Word, Outlook and Excel).
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations which includes but is not limited to, additions, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentages.
- Flexibility to work special schedules if required to satisfy job requirements and available for OT.
- Good communication skills.
- Detail oriented, excellent record keeping and documentation skills.
- Excellent understanding of technical documents and reporting skills.
- Able to manage time effectively, take initiative, and adjust to competing priorities.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, High intensity, manufacturing environment and produce accurate and timely results.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, multi-tasking, networking, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, self-motivated and creative problem-solving skills.
- Positive can-do attitude.

- Hourly rate starting at $18 - $20 based on experience including annual bonus (benefits begin after 90 day probation period)
