TMG Wall Systems Inc, a leader in commercial drywall contracting, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to join our team. The Quality Control Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that all drywall installation and finishing projects meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This position requires an individual with a strong background in drywall and painting, who is capable of overseeing quality assurance processes across multi-family housing and mixed-use development projects.

- Quality Assurance: Oversee and enforce quality control processes for all drywall installation and finishing projects to ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and company quality standards.
- Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess the quality of work performed. Identify areas for improvement and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of quality control inspections, findings, and corrective actions. Prepare and submit quality control reports to the executive team and project managers.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs for field staff to ensure understanding and adherence to quality standards and best practices in drywall installation and finishing.
- Customer Service: Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and clients to address quality concerns and ensure customer satisfaction. Provide solutions to quality issues and maintain open communication with all stakeholders.
- Project Management Support: Work closely with project management teams to ensure quality control measures are integrated into project plans and schedules. Assist in the coordination of manpower and resources to achieve quality objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality control processes and practices. Lead initiatives to enhance overall project quality and efficiency.
- Proven experience in drywall installation, finishing, and painting within the commercial construction industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in drywall or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and best practices for drywall installation and finishing.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively train and mentor field staff.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, with the ability to maintain detailed documentation and reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- OSHA certification or knowledge of safety regulations and practices is a plus.
