Pay Range: $21 - $25/hour
Schedule: Full-time
We are hiring a QC lab tech for one of the largest CPG manufacturers in North America, producing laundry/dishwasher detergent, and other household cleaning products ; as well as personal care and OTC products on behalf of some of the biggest global brands. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and analysis of raw materials, packaging, intermediates, and finished goods to ensure quality standards.
- Operate and maintain lab instruments, including UV-Vis spectrophotometers, pH meters, viscometers, and more.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
- Prepare and maintain test solutions and standards.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of testing and inspection results.
- Audit internal documentation and production records for accuracy and compliance.
- Set up production lines for inspection and monitor packaging appearance and weights.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality-related questions and ensure compliance.
- Participate in special projects, such as plant trial runs and capability studies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a lab, or manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail.
- Passion for Chemistry: Excited to apply your knowledge in a hands-on lab setting while building your skills.
