Job Details
At least 2+ years of experience.
SUMMARY: The Quality Control Inspector checks the quality of incoming, in-process, and outgoing materials or products as well as the ensure proper production procedures are followed. In addition, to mechanical inspection, this position involves tasks such as running tests, keeping a record of defects, analyzing products, and overseeing procedures. Commitment to and support of the Company's Core Values and quality objectives are key to success in this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Verify all traveler sign-offs have been completed
Verify all SPC sheets have been completed and signed off
Inspection reports
Verify calibration of all inspection tooling
Generate Non-Conformance reports for all discrepant material
Identify potential issues/problems and recommend corrective action measures, as applicable
Complete all paperwork and documentation required with work order
Meet customer requirements by following work instructions including work orders and specification sheets
Independently operate equipment in an efficient and safe manner while meeting required quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Uphold the company core values
Inspect parts to print (technical drawings)
Knowledge of GD&T
Familiar with inspection tooling, height gages, calipers, and micrometers
Other duties as assigned
