Work Environment:
- Work environments vary by industry and establishment size; some inspectors examine similar products for an entire shift, others examine a variety of items.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and lift at least 30 lbs. for the entire duration of your shift.
LOCATION: Georgetown, KY.
PAY RATE:
- 1st Shift: 7:30 am to 4 pm Monday-Saturday, pay $16.00 per hour.
- Paid weekly.
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FULL SHIFT starting April 23, 2024
- Must have steel toe boots!
Quality Control Inspectors typically do the following:
- Read blueprints and specifications.
- Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
- Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
- Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
- Operate electronic inspection equipment and software.
- Accept or reject finished items.
- Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
- Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected.
Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Quality control analysis.
- Active listening/ability to follow instructions.
- Detail Oriented/Monitoring skills.
- Problem solving/Troubleshooting skills.
- Judgment and decision making.
- Comfortable receiving ongoing performance feedback and coaching.
- Comfortable with ongoing change and learning new technology/processes.
- Has a dependable team-player attitude with an understanding that as the demand change your work hours may vary.
- Visually able to determine color, shape, and size of a part.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours plus.
- Have a positive attitude.
- Be able to travel to different job sites within a 10 mile radius to help meet production deadlines at other facilities, if needed.
Education & Experience Required:
- High School Diploma.
- Quality Control experience would be a plus preferred.
- 1-year experience in the automotive industry.
- 1-year experience with quality inspection experience preferred.
- Familiarity with manufacturing facilities.
