Quality Control Associate - Returns - NAS-Four Seasons Produce

As a quality control returns associate you will determine disposition of returned product and process accordingly. Support the QC Assurance team by auditing and communicating condition of on-hand inventory, ensuring adherence to Four Seasons Produce, Inc. quality standards.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and every 3rd weekend with the Wed before and the Tues after off.

What you get to do as a QC Returns Associate

• Process returned product and enter customer credits in an efficient manner
• Thoroughly inspect returned product and replace poor quality product with product that meets quality standards so reconditioned product can be returned to stock, when possible
• Communicate results of returned and/or reconditioned product on a timely basis. Notify management and the Sales team of any abuse of the Returns Policy
• Collaborate with the QC, Sales, and Buying teams on minimizing product loss for Four Seasons Produce, Inc.
• Physically audit and monitor condition and dates of product in Pick Slots. Report to the QC Assurance team any issues found in order to prevent shipping product that does not meet quality standards
• Operate equipment safely, follow safe work practices, maintain a safe work area, and adhere to food safety policies.

What you bring

• Ideally, a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalency
• 1 year of produce operations experience preferred
• Must be able to accurately distinguish colors for grading produce and have keen attention to detail
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software programs
• Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and make sound decisions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and organizational skills
