About the Job
To support Manufacturing/ Quality by providing information from Data Collection, Process Auditing, Part Inspection and Analysis, Participation on Continuous Improvement and Corrective Action activities and the communication of In-House and Supplier Quality Data as well as maintaining the Calibration Program when required.
Roles and Responsibilities:

* Performance Metric on Quality Scorecard for Area of Responsibility
* Identification and communication of nonconforming product.
* Assist with problem solving on recurring issues utilizing data analysis and problem solving techniques.
* Assist and perform inspections, measuring, and testing requirements for all parts / processes in their area of responsibility
* Assist and perform required testing:
Some examples include: Color Hue Testing
Humidity Testing
IFD Testing
Material Stretch Testing
Seam Slippage Testing
* Assist in inspecting their areas 1st Article submittals, and part inspections prior to Pilot Runs
* Facilitate and/or work with quality improvement teams
* Participate and work with Product Development Teams including Pilot Run participation, reviews, feedback and action development
* Provide inspection, sampling and process control requirements, develop Quality Control Plans, including CTQ’s and SFVS
* Works with Quality Engineer & purchasing on Supplier QN issues.
* Control and maintain the accuracy of the Masters used in the calibration process.
* Insures Calibration process is maintained and followed through the accurate distribution or removal, active and not active tooling/gauges and documenting the status.
* Auditing product and or processes
* Participate in and drive corrective actions including participation in FMEA activity and actions
* Support the Vision and Guiding Principles and other policies of Kimball International and National Office Furniture.
* Follow and support the Quality system.

Qualifications:
Educational
* ASME or ASIE preferred
* Prior Auditing or Quality Technical experience required.
Previous ISO 9000 or 14000 experience preferred.
