What You’ll Do:
As a Quality Assurance Technician / Inspector, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products at every stage of the manufacturing process. You will:
- Inspect and Test Products: Conduct in-process inspections and measurements on raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Track & Analyze Quality: Maintain accurate records, including first run samples, family colors, and pouching/converting retain samples.
- Support Continuous Improvement: Audit rework and inspect reworked or resorted products. Track quality trends and resolve issues quickly.
- Ensure Compliance: Enforce food safety and quality assurance standards to ensure compliance with all regulations and customer specifications.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with leadership to communicate quality issues and participate in meetings to improve processes.
- Maintain Equipment: Operate and maintain all inspection and testing equipment, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning properly.

Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience: Prior experience in quality assurance or production inspection is a plus, particularly in flexible packaging or printing.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn new software tools.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to document quality-related issues clearly.
- Color Perception: Excellent color vision (with or without corrective lenses) for inspection of printed materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual: Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Industry Experience: Knowledge of various testing methods and quality expectations, particularly in the flexible packaging or printing industries.
