Volt is immediately hiring for a 1st Shift Quality Assurance Tech at a Food Manufacturing company in Fullerton, CA
As a Quality Assurance Tech you will:
- Work closely with production and manufacturing teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
- Ensure that all stages of production comply with safety and quality standards
- Address GMP violations in production with production supervisors and employees
- Perform routine inspections of raw materials,in process, and finished goods to assess compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Collect samples of raw materials and finished products for microbiological, chemical, and physical testing
- Maintain detailed records of quality control tests, inspections, and findings to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 1-year of related experience in Food Manufacturing industry or related field
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Understand of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Proficiency with computers systems and documentation
- Comfortable overseeing a team of employees and addressing concerns directly
- Able to take corrective actions
- Ability to pay close attention to details
- Ability to work Overtime and Saturdays as needed
