Work Schedule
Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Technician will inspect metal fabrication parts, stamped parts, assemblies, sub-assemblies, raw materials, and components by comparing them against drawings, production illustrations, samples, and other appropriate tools or documentation. They will also Identify and provide root cause corrective analysis for non-conforming parts.

Position Summary:

Primary Accountabilities (Essential Duties):
- Measure parts to verify accuracy using various measuring instruments.
- Examine parts visually for physical defects.
- Compare parts and materials to verify conformance to drawing and/or engineering specifications.
- Compare hardware on assemblies, subassemblies, and parts to verify part quality.
- Identify and reject nonconforming assemblies, parts, raw material, or components.
- Record the type and quantity of defects to maintain control records.
- Conduct internal quality audits.
- Create quality documents as appropriate.
- Perform, lead, and guide root cause analysis.
- Responsible for signing off on first piece articles for each job.
- Reviewing products during manufacturing to make sure they meet quality standards.
- Managing tools and measure equipment to maintain compliance for calibrations
- Train to SOP
- Issue and train any quality alerts.
- Perform any necessary quality test to ensure product meets quality standard quality standards
- Moderate comfort with heavy equipment such as injection molding and understanding of quality standards.
- Other duties as assigned

Education / Experience:
- Education: HS Diploma/GED
- 5 Years of Experience in Manufacturing
- 3 Years of Experience in Quality
Technical Skills:
MS Office, SharePoint
Licenses / Certifications
Forklift Certification (propane), preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to walk, stand, and bend frequently, up to 8 hours a day.
- May be required to lift, up to 60 pounds.
- Occasionally required to move and handle material.
Work Conditions:
- Office / Manufacturing Warehouse
