Quality Assurance Specialist
Vanguard Renewables is the premier anaerobic digester developer/owner/operator in the United States. Our closed-loop anaerobic digestion process converts organic waste and cow manure into green electricity or renewable natural gas as well as other related “value-added” products. Our head office is in Weston Massachusetts, and we are funded by institutional capital partners. We currently have over twenty projects in development operating in over thirteen States. We have a plan to continue to aggressively expand into other domestic markets.
The Quality Assurance Specialist has primary responsibility for the oversight and coordination of all Quality Assurance practices of a POD under construction in accordance with the design and specification parameters.

The Quality Assurance Specialist has primary responsibility for the oversight and coordination of all Quality Assurance practices of a POD under construction in accordance with the design and specification parameters.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Support in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels.
- Investigate reports of product quality issues and ensure resolution in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and update procedures for capture, investigation, and documentation.
- Monitorrisk-managementprocedures,maintain problem logs, and report issues to leadership.
- Providetrainingandsupporttoqualityassuranceteammembersthat cover s ystems, policies, procedures, and core processes.
- Develop training materials and operating manuals.
- Responsible for site safety audits
- EnsuringJSAcompliance
- Verifyingsubcontractordocumentation; lift plans, TRIR, operator qualifications, and safety plans
- Documentnonconformance.
- Provideinsightanddirectionon emergency response plans prior to mobilization to ensure they are realistic and achievable.
- Understandingproject specifications.
- Analyze impacts on the environment.
- Supportfordevelopingproject document control programs.
- Risk identification, risk analysis, recovery planning.
- Supportin project pre-planning & development.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of QA/QC or safety experience.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.
- Provenabilitytounderstandprojectsaccordingto outlined quality specifications and safety requirements.
- Full understanding of project reporting.
- Fullunderstandingofprocurementprocess & management.
- Basic understanding of contract language.
- FullunderstandingofEnvironmentalCompliance Plan.
- Basic ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects at once.
- Basic understanding of consequences of all project performance.
- Basicscheduledevelopment and maintenance.
- Experiencein contract compliance.
- Experienceindocumentcontrolprogram development and execution.
- Experiencein blueprint & specification reading.
- Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
- Advancedleadershipskills,excellentcommunicator,negotiator, and motivator.
- Well Organized
- Very Resourceful
- Self-Motivated.
- OSHA 30 Minimum is a plus.
