Job Details

Our manufacturing company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulatory requirements. This is a challenging and exciting role that offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Manage document control systems to ensure that all records are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Develop and implement corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
Ensure that all employees are trained in relevant quality control procedures and that all training records are up-to-date.
Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Manage the HACCP program to ensure that all food products are safe for consumption.
Ensure that all products are manufactured in accordance with good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Serve as the company's PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) and ensure that all food safety plans are up-to-date and effective.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. food science, quality assurance, regulatory affairs) or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role in the manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to food safety and quality control (e.g. FDA, USDA, HACCP).
Experience with document control systems and quality management software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with audits and inspections by regulatory agencies.
