About the Job
Gpac is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for one of our clients in Arkansas. Specifically, a Quality Assurance Manager who specializes in the Poultry Industry.
This is a fairly new and small company yet very established. This industry has a great family feel and culture to it.
The position will be responsible for all food safety/quality and internal audits.
Responsible for managing all aspects of Food Safety & Quality:
- FSMA, HACCP & food safety program compliance.
- Internal audits, compliance with regulatory requirements & regulatory audits and customer audit support & compliance.
- Strong leadership and training to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- GMP/Housekeeping.
- Maintain the facilities GFI certification & SQF.
- Oversite of all food safety & quality at the lab and processing facility.
- Freedom to create programs and processes you see the best fit.
- Acting member of the company’s leadership team.
Theideal candidate will hold:
- 3-5 years of proven food safety & quality program management experience within the Protein or Poultry industry.
- Leadership in safety and environmental programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting & training employees.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or related field preferred.
- HACCP, FSMA, and SQF desired.
- Experience developing programs, processes, and training materials.
Compensation (base salary):$100,000 to $110,000 with a bonus depending on experience that includes great benefits and retirement as well as discounts on products.
