Job Description: The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality standards for IT systems and services. This role ensures that all deliverables meet project requirements, compliance standards, and are free of defects before deployment. The Quality Assurance Manager plays a critical role in supporting the project's goal of maintaining and improving a key IT system, ensuring its reliability, security, and readiness for future challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Establish and safeguard quality standards for IT systems and services.
2. Conduct in-depth assessments of products and processes to ensure compliance with performance work statement (PWS) requirements and organizational standards.
3. Perform and lead software testing to verify proper operation and identify any defects.
4. Create and manage test data and documentation to support application testing.
5. Resolve complex issues, document progress, and communicate findings to management.
6. Identify and implement improvements to quality assurance procedures.
7. Develop and evaluate models for potential future system configurations.
8. Provide guidance to technical writers and quality assurance analysts regarding system functionalities and quality standards.
9. Conduct complex workflow analyses and recommend enhancements for improved system performance and quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree (MA/MS) with 10 years of experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with 12 years of experience.
• Certifications: Six Sigma Black Belt certification required.
• Secret Clearance Required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing quality in Army IT projects or similar environments using low-code platforms.
• Industry-recognized certifications and other professional credentials are highly desirable

Physical and Mental Qualifications:

• Be able to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours.
• Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard)
• Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English language
• Execute tasks independently and work as a team.
• Learns and memories routine tasks.
• Strong organizational, grammar, business correspondence, and self-management skills
