We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Director. This role is integral to our commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services, maintaining high standards of patient satisfaction, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will lead our quality management team in a hospital setting, focusing on risk management, infection control, and patient safety. They will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying risk exposure, and implementing strategies to enhance our healthcare delivery. Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance program that aligns with our healthcare objectives and complies with regulatory requirements.
2. Lead the quality management team in identifying areas of risk, developing risk management strategies, and implementing corrective actions.
3. Oversee infection control programs to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
4. Analyze patient satisfaction data and develop strategies to enhance patient experience.
5. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.
6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the quality assurance program, making necessary adjustments to enhance its effectiveness.
7. Collaborate with other departments to integrate quality assurance strategies across all areas of the hospital.
8. Conduct regular audits to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
9. Provide training and guidance to staff on quality assurance and risk management practices.
10. Stay updated on the latest healthcare quality assurance trends and best practices, implementing these in our hospital setting.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a quality assurance role within a healthcare setting, with proven experience as a Director.
3. In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality assurance practices.
4. Proven experience in risk management, infection control, and patient safety.
5. Strong ability to analyze data, identify risk exposure, and develop effective strategies.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
10. Certification in healthcare quality (e.g., CPHQ) is preferred.
