Position overview:
Seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support the company"s efforts to develop cell-based therapies for the treatment of cancer. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for the daily oversight of quality operations and ensuring partner blood banks and testing labs are in compliance with cGMP/GDP requirements. Ideal applicants will be expected to provide guidance and support to colleagues regarding GMP-compliance.
Qualifications:
University degree in biomedical or life sciences
Experience with quality systems and/or quality management programs
Knowledge of FDA-CFR Title 21 and EU regulations
Knowledge of international and US/state/local cGMP and GDP guidelines
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
Experience with the change control processes
Experience with supplier quality programs is preferred
Requires problem solving skills and attention to detail/follow up
Ability to handle multiple tasks while ensuring timely and accurate completion
Ability to work independently
