This position is in our Natural Formulas Manufacturing Division which is in Hayward, California.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary focus of this position is to support the Quality department with the following duties.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates with the management staff on timely review and required updates to our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to ensure domestic and international regulatory compliance.
- Responsible for timely annual renewal of all international product export certificates, licenses and permits for the company. Including State of California Manufacturing Drug License, Processed Food Registration, and Organic Processed Product registrations.
- Responsible for entering data into the Customer Complaints Log, completing the complaint form and developing a trend analysis of complaints.
- Responsible for the application process for National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) certificates for every international shipment of fish oil.
- Attend Production meetings, take notes, type and distribute on a weekly basis.
- Work with accounting for check requests.
- Composes and types routine correspondence. or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Routine filing and maintenance of files and other records.
- Provides backup support for Receptionist duties.
- Assists Quality Assurance Manager with any other administrative duties needed.
- Special projects as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A.A. degree in communication or related field with 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent proofreading skills.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Flexible and a team player.
