Qualitative Research Manager - Remote - YouGov

We will give you end to end responsibility and project ownership – from inspiring the client with our solutions, managing the lifecycle of the project through to delivering the results and seeing the difference you make. You will get exposure to a huge range of clients, with a range of research needs, across multiple sectors. This will happen with support and guidance from a fun, energetic and close team.

A strong communicator, you will put participants at ease and ask the right questions to uncover their true motivations. You will work with senior stakeholders in the business as their qualitative advisor, helping them build global accounts. You will create strong relationships with teams internally and externally to deliver these fast, exciting, and innovative projects.

What will I be delivering?

• You will be the key point of contact for clients throughout the lifecycle of your projects – from helping stakeholders develop & sell solutions through your advice, through to debriefs
• Lead the recruitment of your projects, designing the right criteria and screeners for the brief
• Work alongside our Panel teams and others to coordinate and manage your projects; delegating where needed
• Flex your qual muscles by moderating online forums, groups and depths – getting the most out of our panellists and digging to the true motivations behind their reactions
• A true storyteller, you will bring their experiences to life in your analysis and reporting
• Grow your curiosity in YouGov's business around the world, understanding how qual fits with other work in YouGov and can help answer questions that other tools don't reach to add value to clients and help build key accounts

Qualifications

What do I need to bring with me?

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience
• A track record of high-quality qualitative research design
• Experience of day-to-day running qualitative projects (including client contact, project design, moderation and report writing)
• Commercial/research acumen (commercial success, troubleshooting etc.)
• Experience/Interest in Digital media, social media and technology research (desirable)

Technical skills and qualifications

• Excellent project management & organizational skills
• Excellent written, oral and electronic communication skills
• Ability to engage and focus on clients

Behavioural competencies

• A drive to commercially succeed and solve clients' problems 
• Collaborative, positive and friendly attitude
• Ability to deliver results, meet deadlines and manage time effectively

For roles based in California, New York, Colorado or Washington State, the base salary hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $96,000. 

Compensation offered will be determined by multiple factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
