Amaris Assisted Living Homes is seeking a compassionate and reliable Resident Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will have 1 year of prior caregiving experience in a residential setting and will be QMAP certified.

Resident Assistant Responsibilities:
- Caringforthepersonalneeds,safety,andcomfortofourresidents
- Assistingresidentswithactivitiesofdailyliving includingwardrobe,personalhygiene, and mobility
- Aidingindailytaskssuchashousekeeping,useoftelephone,laundry,transportation,andmaildelivery
- Assistingwithdiningincludingescortingresidentstodiningroom,serving,andcleanup
- Observingandreportingchangesinresident’sconditionandstatus
- Documentingclientconcernsanddifficultiesandreportingtosupervisor
- Schedulingdoctorappointmentsasneeded
- Completingroundsonresidentstoassuresafetyandprovideassistanceasneeded
- Attendingmeetings/in-services/trainingsessionsasrequiredbyHealthServicesDirectorand/orExecutiveDirector
- Communicatingwithresidents,families,visitors,andemployeesinapositivemannerusingexcellentcommunication skills
- Representingtheagencyinaloyalmanner
- Otherdutiesasassigned
Qualifications:
- Graduation from high school or successful G.E.D.
- Verifiable work experience as a caregiver or CNA, preferably 1 year.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to frequently sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, and crouch or crawl
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds.
- Ability to see and hear within normal parameters/ranges.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the workforce
- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions related to providing client care
- Ability prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to client needs and schedule
